A seasoned entrepreneur, a founder or co-founder of five companies, Calvin Cao co-founded Stem Cell Therapy International Inc., Tampa, FL, with Global Capital Corp. in 2004. As chief executive officer of SCTI, he is the driving force behind its strategy to make SCTI the dominant global company in the field of stem cell transplants and other newly develop cell therapies.
Lixian (John) Jiang, is a senior Attorney from China and a Patent Agent in the US. He specializes in intellectual property law, China tax law and corporate law. He has worked in a number top specialty law firms before he joined SCTI in June of 2006. In addition, Mr. Jiang is a stem cell scientist and a PhD candidate who is expecting to get his formal degree certificate in the Fall (August '06) Convocation Ceremony from the University of South Florida Medical School. He has published around 60 original medical articles and abstracts.
Lixian (John) Jiang is employed in the capacity as Chief Operating Officer and Patent Trademark Counsel of the China Division of Stem Cell Therapy International, Inc. and reports directly to the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of SCTI.
Lixian (John) Jiang is responsible for the supervision and the operations of the joint venture of the China Division of SCTI, Inc. and a local Beijing hospital. He will commence setting up the SCTI stem cell cryo-preservation bank in China, coordination patient treatment procedures with the hospital(s) in China, and the ongoing management and oversight of the general business operations of the China Division of SCTI, providing legal representation and directing the market of China Operations, as well as being the legal advisor for all SCTI patents and trademarks in stem cell and biotechnology in China.
